Metamorpha – Valencia Meeting
We're thrilled to announce that the METAMORPHA project just wrapped up a successful 6-month progress meeting in beautiful Valencia! Our colleagues Mario Hesker and Paul Buske were able to attend the meeting in person and discuss the progress that the project has made so far.
The EU-project involves the collaboration between eleven partners from both industry and research to create a USP laser micromachining platform that will replace numerous traditional manufacturing processes, some of which are environmentally hazardous. The Chair for Technology of Optical System is contributing to the project by developing an optical system featuring two cascaded spatial light modulators (SLMs) and a built-in galvo scanner, which will serve as the central component of the METAMORPHA module.
From exciting technical advancements to upcoming results, we are eagerly anticipating the next steps of this exciting project. We can't wait for the next plenary meeting in September and are excited to share more progress updates with you along the way!
